We have participated in the Quality Summit at IMSAD International Construction
“International Quality Summit in Construction” which is implemented by İMSAD/Turkey, and accepted to be the biggest event the sector, was held Hilton Bomonti Hotel, on Thursday October 26, 2017 with a theme of “Investment in the future/digital transformation”. Dr. Faruk Özlü, the minister of Science, Industry and Technology of Turkish Republic, Erol Bilecik, Chairman of the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜSİAD), Ferdi Erdogan, the Chairman of IMSAD/Turkey and the leading figures of the business and economic world in addition to the members of the Board of Directors, have attended the summit. In the summit totally more than 500 people from all walks of sector have come together. Remarkable information was shared in the sessions and special presentations.

Mustafa Tolunay, the General Manager of Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş., who closely follows the important developments for the future of the construction sector and participates in the summit, stated that “in the coming few years, grat transformations will be experience in the sector with the solutions of Industry 4.0 (4th Industrial Revolution); and those transformations will increase the efficianecy and create differences in the costs. Manufacturing at a lower cost, minimum energy usage, time savings, less resources and less memory consumption, etc., as well as at high-speed and reliable operation, at least twice the yield and better quality product fabrication compared to previous jobs, are among the gains by Industry 4.0. He emphasized that this transformation will affect the ready-made building sector both in terms of architecture and fabrication. He said that they will make big contributions to this transformation as the pioneer company in the sector with digitalization and smart manufacturing technologies.
In the summit, which is one of the platforms that steer the sector, the transformation in industry, the transition to Industry 4.0 and in order to survive the architecture that will emerge with this transition, and information age; how to manage this process, how the towns, factories and buildings in the future will be and technological solutions to response the needs during the course of development have been addressed.
