Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş. Took Part in the Most Important Summit of Construction Business

Quality in Construction International Summit organized by Turkey Association for Construction Materials Industrialists (Turkey İMSAD) for the 9th time took place at Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul on November 05, 2019.

Quality in Construction International Summit, one of the most significant events in the sector, is held with the theme of “Codes of Competition: Unlimited Trade” this year. Leading manufacturers of construction materials industry, important people from business and economy and more than 500 hundred participants from the sector assembled at the summit where the development of construction business in global market is closely examined.

Manufacturing prefabricated structures, containers, steel construction structures at high quality standards in Turkey and around the world, producing all the major raw materials used in prefabricated structures within the company premises, Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş., a Hekim Holding organization, supported the summit as “Sweepstakes Sponsor” this year as in the previous year.

According to year 2018 figures, construction materials industry achieved a growth of 85 billion dollars in domestic market and 21,5 billion dollars in foreign market, becoming the 3rd industry field that makes the highest export after automotive and ready wear. Topics such as how to make this success sustainable, how to widen existing markets and how to come over export limits were discussed at the 9th Quality in Construction International Summit.

Turkey İMSAD Board of Directors Chairman Ferdi Erdoğan stated “Our goal for the summit which is held under the theme of ‘Codes of Competition: Unlimited Trade’ this year is to eliminate our own obstacles limiting us in foreign trade, and find new expansions for the growth of the industry”.

The speeches of the summit mainly focused on; imitation market in Turkey, changes in global trade, unfair competition in international trade, digitalization which gained significance in the recent years and Industry 4.0.
